After a devastating flood displaces families in the Midwest, a crooked developer named Phineas T. Flagg offers them "prime" land in Arizona at a bargain price. However, Flagg secretly knows the land has already been condemned by the government for a new dam. He plans to wait for the families to improve the land, then seize the government compensation for himself. It’s up to the Three Mesquiteers to expose the scheme and save the settlers from losing everything again.
