In this 1940 horror film, Boris Karloff stars as Dr. Adrian, a scientist obsessed with curing a young woman’s polio. To obtain necessary spinal fluid, Adrian skins an escaped circus ape and uses the hide as a disguise to murder locals. He is eventually killed by a vengeful posse.
