A Bucket of Blood is a 1959 black comedy horror film directed by Roger Corman. It is a dark satire of the 1950s beatnik culture, starring Dick Miller as Walter Paisley, a dim-witted busboy at a bohemian café who yearns for artistic recognition. After accidentally killing his landlady's cat, he covers it in clay and presents it as a sculpture, instantly becoming an acclaimed artist.
