A gruesome cult classic, this 1962 movie follows Dr. Bill Cortner, an experimental surgeon who preserves his decapitated fiancée’s head in a surgical pan after a fatal car crash. While Cortner prowls beauty pageants to find a "replacement" body for transplant, the disembodied Jan-in-the-Pan develops telepathic powers. She eventually plots a grisly revenge by communicating with a mutated monster locked in the lab's closet.
