The film is a cautionary morality tale about Ann Dixon (Helen Foster), a sweet, innocent high school girl who is led astray by her rebellious friend, Eve Monroe (Nell O’Day).
Descent into Vice: Under Eve's influence, Ann begins drinking alcohol, smoking marijuana, and attending wild parties featuring "strip craps" games and skinny dipping.
Tragic Turn: After leaving her boyfriend Tommy (Glen Boles) for an older, experienced man named Ralph Bennett (Paul Page), Ann becomes pregnant.
The Ending: Ralph arranges a "clumsy, unsanitary" back-alley abortion for Ann. The procedure leaves her gravely ill, and the film concludes with her deathbed scene where she passes away after asking for her mother's forgiveness.
