In this 1941 Monogram Pictures chiller, Bela Lugosi stars as Dr. Charles Kessler, a man haunted by his wife’s supposed death. Unbeknownst to him, she survived a crash with brain damage and is hidden nearby. Whenever Kessler glimpses her through a window, he enters a homicidal trance, strangling his staff. Innocent Ralph Dickson is executed for the crimes, leaving his twin brother to uncover the truth. It’s a moody, low-budget cult classic of madness.
