The story follows Marie Anthony (Clara Bow), a young woman who is released from a reformatory where she was unjustly sent. Seeking a new life, she is taken in by a benevolent Judge Orr (Winter Hall) and makes friends with an earnest young minister, Rev. James Crawford. Her attempts to start afresh are jeopardized when a criminal gang from her past catches up with her, leading to melodrama and suspense.
