The story revolves around a scientist who invents a powerful, remote-controlled robot with superhuman capabilities. After the scientist is murdered by a gang of criminals led by a woman named Mado, she obtains the blueprints and builds her own "mechanical man" to commit crimes. The scientist's brother then creates a second robot to combat Mado's creation, culminating in a climactic fight between the two automata in an opera house, which results in their mutual destruction. Mado is electrocuted by the control panel during the battle.
