On October 30, Mr. Maxim Kozlov, Russian Consul General in Kolkata, participated in the opening session of the XI Asian Mining Congress, organized by the Mining, Geological & Metallurgical Institute of India with the support of Indian Ministry of Coal, Ministry of Mines and Ministry of Steel.
This year the forum attracted high-level trade delegations and participants from over 20 countries, including Russia, providing a platform for mining professionals, scientists, and policymakers to exchange knowledge and drive the industry forward.
On behalf of the Trade Representation of Russia in India Mr. Andrey Podchufarov, Head Metal, Mining, Coal & Heavy Industries, who presented a country paper, also participated in the event, which included plenary and technical sessions focusing on cooperation in mining equipment and technologies as well as in joint critical minerals projects.
